Ahhh, just finished a lovely meal.  My friends at Aliant chipped in and got a caterer to deliver a meal to the house. It was supposed to happen last week but the caterer’s staff were all sick.  It worked out great as Mom arrived today and we had enough for her as well. We had a really nice greek salad and rice pilaf with Digby scallops and tiger shrimp.  Thanks to Ian, Andre, Bev, Henry, Delores and Joan. 

Mom’s plane was late by an hour today so Jacob and I went to the observation deck to see the planes come in.  He got very excited when he saw Mom’s plance and ran to the elevator to get to the arrivals area.

I had to go back to work in the afternoon but Jacob and Mom had a great day together.  I think that he wore her out.  She is reading him his bedtime story.  When finished we are going to have our dessert – my favourite – Creme Brule. 

One final note. Can you believe that Katherine is one month old today?!
