Merry Xmas everyone.  Jacob woke up this morning to a brand new train set and a set of 50 dinky cars.  He completely bypassed the tree we had decorated for him the night before and simply went straight for the cars.  All he could say was “open cars”, “open cars”.  It also took him about 2 hours before he realized that he had a stocking full of other toys.

We received a lot of nice gifts from everyone and of course Jacob scored big time.  Thanks to everybody for sending such nice gifts.  Wish you could have been there in person.

We spent Christmas dinner at the Begg’s.  Rob made both Turkey and Ham and his Mom made some really good apple and pumpkin pies.  We had a great feast.  Diet will have to start again tommorrow.  Not sure that will happen as Wayne and Wilma are coming over so that means lots of snacking and drinking!
