Well last week was quite the week for the Fournier household. On Monday night, Jacob had a seizure and we had to rush him to emergency. Tuesday we spent in the hospital doing tests.  Wednesday, Laura Jayne backed the car into the garage.  Thursday we had our ultrasound.  The baby is doing well but Laura Jayne has to go on bed rest for the remainder of her pregnancy.  I think it is time to go buy a lotto ticket as things have to get better from here on.

Jacob is doing fine.  We think his seizure was temperature related but we are going to have a CAT scan done just to make sure.  It sure was a frighteing experience.

Laura Jayne has gone to the island for support.  She can’t pick up Jacob, drive a car or do any chores whatsoever.  Support has flooded in and she is in great hands.  Thanks to all of you.

Meanwhile the strike continues.  The only good news is that the Union and the Company are talking today through a top Federal mediator.  Pray that this is the breaking point.  The talks though are still about getting back to the table, not about resolving the contract.
