The strike is still going strong at Aliant and we are into day 22.  I am working 12 hour shifts.  Up at 5:30am and home by 7pm every night. Thank god I get the weekends off otherwise I would be brain dead.

Jacob and Laura Jayne came into the office today for a nice visit and everyone thought he was very cute.  He had quite the time wandering around in the vast land of cubicles and drawing nice pictures on our whiteboards.  After a week of business work, it was a nice departure.

We are finally getting some landscaping done.  The trucks should start rolling in soon to clear away all the debris and to start putting top soil and grass in.  We have a small deck off the laundry room that is going in today.  Once the VICIOUS black flies are gone, we should be able to enjoy the outdoors.
