We went to the Dalhousie Rebecca Cohn theater tonight to Stuart McLean.  We are big fans of his Vinyl Cafe program on CBC radio.  The kids are especially fond of the “turkey” episode so they were very excited to attend the performance.  Well it turned out to be a grand affair and beyond our wildest expectations.  Jacob and Katherine both got to go on stage with Stuart.  He had asked for volunteers to help him with part of the show and he always chooses children. Katherine was picked because she was the youngest at 6 years old. She had to pass out a gift to the oldest person in the audience who was 91.  Jacob needed to ensure that he collected ideas during the break for a rapid story roundtable by Stuart and I think for comedic relief.
