Can you believe that Laura Jayne and I are actually going on a kid free, all inclusive, luxurious vacation to the Mexican Riviera? Its an amazing 5 star hotel and its adults only! Love my kids but I think after 7 years, one can let their hair down without any real responsibility. The hotel is called the Excellence Playa Mujeres. We are leaving this Sunday and will return next Sunday. The trip is from a sales award I won with Aliant. I was the only one in Atlantic Canada to beat my forecast at my level. Laura Jayne is pretty excited as well. New clothes, new haircut and new luggage have all combined to get her in the proper frame of mind. She has not even indicated that she is worried about flying. We will just start drinking on the plane and not stop until we get there.Wilma has graciously accepted the task of looking after the kids while we are gone.

The kids are doing really well. Jacob is enjoying school and is progressiving excellently but still loves it when school is cancelled due to weather. Who doesn’t. Katherine is becoming quite the ballrina and loves to where her tutu around the house. Although both of them have started to not wear their tops on in the basement. How weird is that.
