I just posted a whack of new photos up going all the way back to January.  I am getting slow in my old age I guess.  Things have been quite busy since the last post. We had a great visit from Mom and Dad Fournier the first week of May.  They came down for Jacob’s birthday.  We had lots of fun with them and it never seems long enough when they do come.  We held a great neighbourhood party for Jacob in the garage as it was still chilly out.  We took the kids to a shark show at the Museum of Natural history as well.  Mom and Dad both ended up having very bad colds and actually left home and drove right through without seeing their friends.  It was quite a shame.  They were able to join us on PEI for the second party for Jacob (yes 2 of them).  Imagine a child at 11:00 at night wound up on chocolate and too much excitment.  He was a whirling dervish.  Check out the gallery for pictures.

Shelley ran her first marathon the other week and had an incredible time under 4 hours. Had she been 5 minutes faster, she would have been able to qualify for the Boston Marathon.  Quite an impressive feat considering this was her first attempt at such a long distance.

We have temporarily stopped construction on the playroom.  The new priority is a play set.  I had lots of gravel delivered and spent the day trying to dig out the 22×22 ft area.  It has to go down 12 inches for the right support.  Trying is the operative word. After 3 hours of digging and nothing to show for it, I am hiring someone with a bobcat.

The playroom is still advancing.  I did get some work done when Mom and Dad were here.  Mom helped me put up some drywall and Dad kept everything nice and tidy.  People say I am messy – I don’t understand where that comes from.
