Well its back to work this week after a fun filled 2 weeks of vacation.  My first day back involved firing someone I just hired.  They lasted about 5 minutes in the job!  Buy me a beer and I will tell you a great story.

We had a great time on the vacation.  We started off with Katherines Baptism in PEI.  We had a really nice ceremony and it was great to have Gary do the service for us.  He was the same minister that married us and also baptised Jacob.  The reception afterwards was a feast of Shirleys sandwiches and desserts. Mmmmm. (Wilma also cooked some great meals as well )

We then headed back to NS for the rest of the week on Monday.  It was a scorcher of a week so I bought Jacob a nice little pool to have fun in.  It worked out well as him and I sat in it together with our respective posion – his was lemonade, mine was beer. 

We also spent some time visiting various museums etc. and I will get more photos up of those days.  Mom and Dad were great to have around in helping with the kids and planting new trees and bushes for us.  Dad was even good enough not to burn any down when he went out for his “fresh air breaks.”  At least it kept the blackflies away.

We were sad to see them go home as we don’t get to see them very often. Next on the list will be to get the kids to meet their first cousins in Ont and BC.  Maybe next year.
