I’ve Been Naughty
Well, I finally broke down and bought my own digital camera. Wayne is quite happy as I will not have to borrow his for the new baby. Good news is that it means I can put more photos up. Check out the Media Gallery as I have added quite a few new shots. I figured I should buy the camera now as I doubt I have been good enough to get one for Christmas.
I am back at work today after my “2 weeks vacation”. Why the quotes? Well, I cooked, cleaned and scrubbed the house 6 ways to Sunday. I am glad to be back at work to get rested. It’s hard work. Kudos to Laura Jayne and all the woman out there that have to do it. I say that with sincere honesty and it has nothing to do with xmas coming up and people buying presents …
Laura Jayne is doing remarably and today is her first day at home alone. I imagine that she will need extra foot rubs tonight. We have our 34 week doctor visit this Wednesday and it marks a major milestone. Keep your fingers crossed.
The outside of the house is decorated for xmas. I took a picture but it did not turn out that well but you can see it under the December 3, 2004 pictures. We even bought two little reindeer that light up. All we need now is snow. Jacob is primed for xmas and talks about Santa a lot. Ask him what Santa says and his response is “HO HO Merry Christmas”
We took Jacob to see the Incredibles movie the other day. His second theatre experience. He was very good and managed to sit through the whole thing. It was a great movie but I think Laura Jayne and I enjoyed it more.
We also went out to dinner the other night to Jack Astors. It is a restaurant with a pub style approach. Halfway through the dinner, the table was covered in napkins. Crayons and crude drawings were everywhere. I turned to Laura Jayne and said “remember the days when a nice dinner out meant a few bottles of wine and romance”? It will be nice when we are through all this and we can spend some quality time together. There will not be a third as Wilma has decided to give me the “knife” for xmas.
All for now. Ciao.
