The strike continues to drag on at Aliant with no movement on either side to come to the table and negotiate.  Looks like it could be for awhile.  Meanwhile, on top of this, a $25 million Request for Proposal just came in and I am working 14-16 hour days to get it done.  Mmmm… sleep…

The good news about the RFP is that it has to be hand delivered in Ottawa.  So guess who volunteered? Free trip home!  It is great timing as Dad goes into the hospital for his operation on the 28th of June and I will be there before and after. Lucky timing.  He is supposed to find out today what they will do (valve repalcement type) and how intrusive the surgery will be.
