Jacob’s central line went interstitial (i.e. the IV punctured in vein) and the IV fluid built up in his
surrounding tissue.  Laura Jayne (Danger Girl) came to the rescue and got the nurses to remove the IV as soon as possible.  He will have to get another central line next week.  Laura Jayne was pretty distraught over the ordeal but is much better now.  We spent quite a bit of time with him since I had the afternoon off.  He gained another 20 grams last night and is almost back to his birth weight.  He skin looks much pinker and fatter and he is still doing very well.
