Its hard to believe that a year ago Mom passed away. It really seems like it was yesterday and the whole experience is still very surreal. I am home in Ottawa and Shelley and her kids are arriving today as well. Doug could not make it due to work commitments. We will have a nice family reunion regardless. She would have liked to know that we are together on this day.

It is very weird walking around the house. You still expect that you will walk in the door and she would be there doing her crossword puzzles or baking something special for your arrival. Golf was also not the same although it was nice to have the winning score for a change.

We miss you dearly but know that you are watching over us. You will never be forgotten and know that you are in our hearts and our lives forever.
