Jacob gained 35 grams last night.  They also measured him today and he is now 40 cm long (1.5 cm longer) and his head is now .5 inches bigger.  Grow baby grow!  That is a great weight gain considering that they put in his new central line yesterday.  Unfortunately it did not go well and it curved under his armpit again. They pulled it back and hoped it would last. However, it failed this morning and they had to put an IV back in his leg.  This means that they now have to do the “cut down” procedure tomorrow.  It is a small operation where they make an incision so they can see where the vein is and how to thread the catheter up the vein.  This will be done tomorrow.  Say a prayer.
