I spoke to Dad today and he sounded very good.  He is not in a lot of pain and the healing process is coming along very well.  His strength is returning and there have been no complications etc.  He indicated that the scare is grusome but considering the surgery that was performed is very understandably.  Unfortunately he still has another 8 weeks of recovery before he can swing the clubs again!

Mom is joining Dad on his daily walks and they are having some nice romantic times together.
