Another pretty good day for Jacob.  He slept for most of the day but he woke up in time for me to visit him.  Laura Jayne and I got to hold him outside the incubator last night for about 30 minutes each.  He was wide eyed and really enjoyed our company. He gained about 15 grams last night but they had not fed him that day to conserve his energy.  He should be gaining about 30 grams per day in an ideal state.

He still is having some duskies but he is recovering on his own each time so we think that is a good sign.  It will sure be nice when those stop.  Laura Jayne is doing well and is much better today.  We were both stressed out yesterday but our spirits are much better now.

Thanks to everyone for their lovely gifts of flowers etc and all the phone calls.  Jacob also thanks you for the emails as he gets about 5 per day.  We will save these so he can read them when he is older.
