Happy Birthday – Patricia Fournier
Today is Mom’s Birthday! She was born in Antigonnish on this date in 1940. She was placed in a shoebox by the stove to keep warm since she was a premature baby (like me and Jacob).

The Weekend
We had a nice time on Saturday. Al MacDonald was in town from Toronto and invited all of us to a BBQ. There were lots of other kids around and Jacob had a blast. Here is a picture of the little fella.

Update on Dad
Dad had his operation last wednesday and it went very well. It took them about 3 hours to complete the procedure. After that, they had to watch him for 4 hours to make sure there was no internal bleeding. Thank goodness there was not as …

Jacob is starting to develop quite the personality and is definitely not shy when it comes to girls. I have no idea where he gets this ability.

update on Ron
Ron is rescheduled for July 7th. for his surgery. Hoping all goes well. Lots of people calling to wish him well. Thanks everyone.

Surgery is Cancelled
Ron’s surgery has been cancelled and will be rescheduled in about 2-3 weeks. Doug, Kevin and Shelley still came home. This was probably for the best since we all had a much better visit than with Ron in the hospital.
